  1. Wash and chop the mixed lettuces into bite-sized pieces
  2. Slice the cucumber and julienne or grate the carrots
  3. Cook the beet until tender, then slice or cube it
  4. Hard boil the eggs (10 minutes in boiling water), peel and quarter them
  5. Hull and slice the strawberries
  6. Arrange the lettuce mixture as the base in a large bowl or plate
  7. Top with the sliced beets, cucumber, and carrots
  8. Add the quartered hard-boiled eggs around the salad
  9. Crumble the goat cheese over the vegetables
  10. Place the strawberry slices decoratively on top
