I’ve been building back up to this for several years. Progressive overload only works if you can keep increasing the load over time, and that’s exactly why Ironmaster dumbbells @IronmasterPro have been essential. My set goes up to 110 lbs, and I’m adding the extension to hit 120 lbs soon. They allow for micro-loading with 1.25, 2.5, and 5 lb add-on kits, which is critical once you're dealing with elevated weights where 5 to 10 lb jumps can stall progress. That level of precision makes it possible to keep pushing forward. I just hit 110s again for the first time since my early 20s. This principle applies to any form of physical work: strength, endurance, mobility. The body only improves by being pushed just beyond what it is used to. It adapts to what you consistently ask of it. From a space and cost standpoint, it’s a no-brainer. A full commercial rack from 75 to 120 lbs in small increments would eat up an entire wall and cost $4,000 to $5,000. Instead, Ironmasters give me compact, scalable access to heavy lifts with none of the compromise.
