Stretches For Banged Up Shoulders - Yoga Inspired Shoulder Opening & Relief Stretches for Men

Michael Baker

This video is for all the guys who can't do barbell squats because of shoulder issues, those who can't reach overhead, or have general stiffness and limited range of motion. It appears to be a common issue among men. I experienced it myself due to years of weightlifting without proper care, which led me to start yoga. Fifteen years later, nearly at 50, I've regained full range of motion and don't suffer injuries. Giving these techniques a try could be beneficial for you too.

Here are some stretches you can follow along with to relieve the tension around your shoulder's ball joint. These exercises are essential, whether you're heavily active or mostly inactive—it's just necessary maintenance!
