LIVE Strength Training My Wife – Air Squats, Arms – 30 Minute Workout
Join my 30-minute strength training session, where I work with Erica, age 46, 110 lbs, and 5’1″, as she prepares to start barbell squats by beginning with air squats. We focus on arms and include two dedicated sets of incline dumbbell presses to rebuild her shoulder strength as it continues to heal.
Despite what many women fear, lifting weights didn’t turn Erica into the Incredible Hulk, make her bulky, or cause any injuries. Women often approach strength training differently than men, gravitating toward cardio, yoga, or machines. But the truth is, strength training is essential for maintaining muscle, strengthening bones, and promoting overall health as we age to ward off frailty.
Think about it—what can you do today to ensure you’ll be able to carry your grandkids, lift groceries, open jars, or sit and stand unassisted in the future? It’s an important investment in yourself, no matter if you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or older.
Join me in training and learn how to build strength.
