Week 3: Join me on a 30 minute resistance training session where I train my wife, Age 45, 110lbs, 5’1″ with weighted and bodyweight exercises. Strength training is equally important for men and women especially as we get older.
Building and maintaining muscle is one of the most important factors for longevity.
The fact is you want to keep or strengthen your muscles, bones and body as you age to prevent and ward off frailty! Think about it like this: what can you do today to make sure you can carry your grandkids, groceries, open jars, stand up and sit down unassisted. It’s a weird way to think when you are in your 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond.
