## Fairfield Half Marathon 2026 **Race Type:** Half Marathon **Location:** Fairfield, CT **Date:** June 7, 2026 **Age at Race:** 51 **Finish Time:** 1:46:00 **Pace:** 8:07 /mi Had a HEATER running the Fairfield 1/2 marathon today. I faced my enemy: running in the heat. 70 at the start, pushing 80 by the end. Zero clouds. No time PR today. Ran 1:46 at 8:07 per mile. Just me working through a battle with something I genuinely hate. I prefer 37 degrees with a tank top on. I’m one of those people. The 2500+ person crowd was great. The course was beautiful. But that damn sun scorched my soul lol. Super glad I did it. Side note. The whole thing was sponsored by Athletic Brewing Company and I POUNDED two “Goldens” from an icy cooler at the finish line. They were like the greatest beers I ever had in my life. Then I just drove home to Seany’s football game. I’ve never actually had a non-alcoholic beer I liked. This one was identical to my favorite beer flavor. Totally new for me. And I liked it a lot
