Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this program for?

Adults 40 and older who want to build strength, improve mobility, and be held accountable to a new healthy habit.

Where do sessions happen?

1-on-1 sessions in a private studio in Orange, CT. Personal strength training and assisted stretching are in-person only. Virtual coaching is available for nutrition and marathon coaching.

How long is a session?

30 minutes. One 30-minute session per week can change your life. You can scale up times as you gain strength.

Do I need to choose between strength training, stretching, and accountability?

During our workouts I will integrate assisted stretching as and when needed and getting here will naturally help with accountability. I always give as much advice, tips and support as possible within our scheduled workouts. The workout is the foundation of the whole thing.

Who benefits most from the accountability side?

Self-motivated adults who already know what to do but struggle with consistency. The structure and weekly check-in keeps the work moving, for training, nutrition, sleep, and any habit change you want to make stick.

How long is the commitment?

Every session is pay as you go. No contracts or memberships. Most clients train 2 to 3 times per week but 1x per week is enough to add in a positive new habit.

What credentials does the trainer hold?

Michael Baker is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA Certified Running Coach, and IIN Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, with over a decade of training adults 40+. That means your sessions cover the full picture: strength, mobility, running, and nutrition. I'm also a former yoga studio owner and a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher. I have completed 4 marathons and have run 100+ half marathons both formally and in training. The sole purpose of inventing this is because I am a digital professional that spent way too many years in my work chair developing bad habits I learned to undo.

How much does it cost?

$50 per 30-minute session. Most clients train 2 to 3 times per week, but one 30-minute session per week can change your life. You can scale up times as you gain strength.

How do I get started?

Book your 1st session. We get to work with an introductory workout and get you on the path to gaining strength.
