Some days you just can't get outside to get the steps in. It's too hot, too rainy, too cold, too many meetings etc. On those days you can get the steps in with an "under desk walking treadmill" and a simple standing desk extension.

10 minute brisk walk break on the hour.
What I do:
I raise my laptop and do light work and correspondence at 1-1.4mph. I can take a full on walk break and listen to a podcast for 10-20min at 3.5-4mph and get in a mile or 2 right in my office.
